Mind Talk is a mindfulness app for teachers to use daily in their classroom. The app is a simple to use and is designed to improve concentration, increase engagement, improve student / teacher relationships and teach children how to use their mind effectively for better life outcomes. As the author explains it s the conversation teachers would like to have with every student if there was time to do it an individual level. It s the app that engages the children hearts and minds so they start the day with clarity and intention. With increasing pressure on teachers to deal with social and emotional problems, Mind Talk provide tools to enhance children's emotional intelligence giving them the tools to let go of emotional setbacks. Mindfulness programs are a must in all schools . In recent years studies at UCLA, Monash, Oxford and Melbourne Universities have shown the positive impact mindfulness programs have on health and well-being. Mind Talk author Bridy Fulvio suggests that effective mind tools must be introduced at a young age so we don t continue to see the rates of depression and anxiety increasing in our early teens. Mind Talk s mission is to bring children back to driver s seat of their own minds, so they feel empowered to choose better outcomes.
